Pastor J Thompson, D. Min.
James ("J") Thompson graduated from the University of South Carolina and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His ministry as pastor at Cedar Creek began in October of 2002. He is married to Donna, his wife of over 30 years. They have served churches in Texas and South Carolina. Pastor "J" and Donna have two married sons that live in the upstate of South Carolina and a marvelous grandson. Life verse: "Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say rejoice!" Phil 4:4
R. Kevin Mulligan, Minister of Music and Worship
Kevin Mulligan graduated from the University of South Carolina and the Moore School of Business. His ministry at Cedar Creek Baptist Church began in May of 2008. He is married to Joeli and blessed with two young children. Kevin and Joeli have served in various ministries over their 13 year marriage and could not be more blessed to be at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Kevin's passion is making music that invites people to worship God in spirit and truth. "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." John 4:23 NIV
Chris & Claudia Kamen, Ministers of Children and Youth
Chris and Claudia Kamen are graduates from Columbia International University. They are now perusing their Masters in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Pastoral Care. Originally from Long Island, NY, they now serve as the Youth and Children ministers of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, since 2008. Their passion is for the message of Christ to be shared to all nations, and to especially touch the lives of youth and children.
